Dee Dussault is the founder of Ganja Yoga and an author. She also works as a tantric yoga and sexuality coach. We caught up with her to hear all about her weedy yoga retreats. (Yes, please!).

How did you get involved in cannabis?
I tried it when I was younger and it made me really anxious and paranoid so I had to wait until I was in my late-twenties before fully developing a relationship to it. Thankfully, being more mature, and having a yoga practice under my belt, and using CBD, all made that uncomfortable aspect of cannabis go away, and now it's a daily medicine.

What is your mission with Ganja Yoga?
I want to help as many people as possible relax and heal themselves through the powers of mindful movement and quality cannabis. For me, quality means pesticide-free, sustainably-grown, with no additives or isolated components. I describe my best-practices in my book, also called Ganja Yoga.

Where do you see yourself in the industry in 5 years?
I hope Ganja Yoga Online is helping millions of people around the world live healthier lives.

What's the biggest challenge of working in the cannabis space and the biggest reward?
I forget a lot because I smoke a lot of cannabis. I'm taking rosemary tincture to help with that, but seriously, I can meet someone three or four times and barely recognize their face, let alone name! Haha. The biggest reward is normalizing this powerful medicine for more people while helping to get black and brown men in prison for cannabis offenses finally free.

Do you have any advice for any fellow cannapreneurs?
Build relationships. Work with each other and collaborate to all fly high together. "Like" posts that align with your brand values. Vote with your attention and your dollar. Lastly, - make sure you carve out time for self-care because if you don't, it won't happen.
