Cooking With Cannabis: Green Tea White Chocolates

In this edition of Cooking with Cannabis, Chef Sebastian Carosi - the short -order cannabis revolutionary - gives The Bluntness his recipe for Green Tea White Chocolates.

Green Tea White Chocolates

  • Servings: 24-36 squares

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Wait Time: 15 minutes

Note From Chef Carosi

Over time most of us have all thought of white chocolate as the 'dark horse' of chocolates while the entire time there have been several surprising health benefits we’ve never considered. White chocolate is derived from milk solids, cocoa butter and sugar.

Cocoa butter is derived from the cocoa plant which is known for its antioxidant qualities and the milk solids contain a good amount calcium. Just make sure that you are buying as high-quality white chocolate as you can purchase, and that you are not buying low-quality white chocolate made with palm oil. Combining the best quality white chocolate, green tea and cannabis can lead to some truly delightful results.

Aside from its presence in cannabis, phytol can also be found naturally in green teas, that's why matcha, gunpowder green tea and sencha are so calming. Several cannabis strains with high levels of phytol are Sour Diesel and The Cheese.

A few terpenes found in chocolate are linalool, myrcene and ocimene. These luscious low-dose cannabis treats will not last long and are loaded with naturally occurring phytol. They are also bursting with mellowing myrcene and fragrant geraniol to add to that natural dose of phytol. Saying that these chocolates are "super dope" would be putting it mildly. Enjoy the combination and get ready to make more, fast...

Compliments: The Power Move

There’s something oddly revolutionary about giving someone a compliment these days. Not the hollow, “Nice shirt, bro,” kind. I mean a real, unfiltered, bone-deep acknowledgment of something another human being is doing right. A small moment of connection that—let’s be honest—we’re all too stingy with.

And that’s a shame. Because in a world addicted to criticism and keyboard jockeys, the compliment is punk rock. It disrupts. It challenges cynicism. It rewires the way we see each other—and ourselves.

Aging & Cannabis: New Findings

For decades, cannabis has been widely regarded as a substance with potential cognitive risks, particularly when used over long periods. Governments across the globe have classified it as a controlled substance, citing concerns about the effects of marijuana use, including memory loss, diminished executive function, and long-term neurological impact. But new research is challenging this long-standing assumption, suggesting that cannabis use may not be linked to age-related cognitive decline—and might even be associated with better cognitive preservation over time.

A recent study published in PubMed (NIH, 2024) followed over 5,000 men for more than four decades to analyze the long-term cognitive effects of cannabis use. The results? Men with a history of cannabis use experienced less cognitive decline from early adulthood to late midlife compared to those who never used cannabis.

How to Make Mushroom Tea

What is mushroom tea?

Mushroom tea is exactly what it sounds like: a tea infused with psilocybin. Psilocybin tea offers a more controlled experience compared to consuming whole mushrooms, with benefits like faster onset and reduced nausea. The Accidental Legend That Changed Everything

Most legendary cannabis strains have murky origin stories involving Grateful Dead parking lots, mysterious breeders, or seeds smuggled from exotic locations. Chem Dog's story checks all those boxes - and it's actually true.

Early 1990s. A Grateful Dead show in Colorado. Someone buys a bag of exceptional weed that happens to have seeds. Those seeds get planted, producing phenotypes that would eventually be dubbed Chem 91, Chem D, and Chem 4. Nobody knew at the time they were witnessing cannabis history being made.
