C.J. Wallace, son of “The Notorious B.I.G” is working hard to make a difference in cannabis, this according to a report by Forbes.

Together with his partner Willie Mack, Wallace created cannabis company Think BIG in 2019 as a tribute to his father.

Since that time, the company has evolved, according to Forbes.

Instead of focusing on only the healing power of cannabis, Think BIG is tackling issues like social justice and equality that have been center state in America in 2020, the outlet reported.

“This past year has been a great learning experience... You have to evolve,” Wallace told Forbes.

“We can no longer stand idly by while our people struggle in the face of unjust laws,” Think Big’s leadership state’s on the company website.

“The war on cannabis has destroyed so many lives. As a company that believes in the healing power of cannabis, we have a responsibility to fight for change. We can no longer stand idly by while our people struggle in the face of unjust marijuana laws and environmental policies that disproportionately target people of color. That’s why we support organizations that advocate for social and criminal justice reform, including the fights against mass incarceration and climate change.”

As cannabis becomes less stigmatized in modern culture, people are beginning to come out and admit to their cannabis use. While smoking weed used to be something people felt they had to keep on the down low, the culture is becoming increasingly mainstream and the scent is now sought after rather than condemned. Many cannabis candles feature complex scent profiles, including notes of amber, which contribute to a rich and layered aromatic experience.

Who Discovered Weed? The Ancient Origins of Cannabis

Trying to tell the story of ancient cannabis is like trying to guess the picture on a puzzle with the majority of the pieces missing. Most of what we know about the historic uses of cannabis come from sparse archaeological evidence and oft doggy translations of texts that are thousands of years old. We can make some educated guesses, but, in the end, the more answers we discover, the more questions we unveil.

Nevertheless, thanks to changing public opinion and waves of legalization, cannabis research is getting prime-time attention. As a result, we know more about the origins of cannabis than we have ever before—and now it’s time to recover some of our long-lost history.
