Delta-10 THC vs. Delta-9 THC

D10 and D9 are incredibly similar in chemical composition but have just enough structural differences to provide different effects on the mind and body. So, they are both psychoactive and intoxicating, but the high is not the same. Many people report that Delta-10 has less impact on headspace, which means that the chance of having a negative experience like paranoia or anxiety is reduced.

The type of drug test matters as well. Urinalysis can detect THC metabolites for up to a month after last use, but blood and saliva tests limit detection to less than a few days. In the unfortunate event of having to submit a hair follicle test, you are looking at 90 days of detection. 

Can Delta-10 THC Cause a Failed Drug Test?

Yes, Delta-10 will lead to a failed drug test if you have enough in your system to meet the testing limits. Despite being hemp-derived, D10 is still a THC molecule, and once metabolized it looks exactly the same in your body as Delta-9 would.
