A doctor’s note could be enough to get medical marijuana in Utah, this according to a report in The Salt Lake Tribune.
The state opened its first “cannabis pharmacy in Salt Lake City” earlier in the week, but issues with the online check-in system are making it difficult for people to utilize its services.
A doctor’s recommendation as an acceptable form of entry would be acceptable if legislation passes (as it's expected to), the outlet reported.
The hope, according to the the Tribune, is that legal protection to purchase medical marijuana would give the state the time to sort out systems issues and patients time to properly apply for and get their medical cards.
